For more than two years, we moved within the same circles, the same places, the same evenings, the same familiar faces. We spoke from time to time and crossed paths often, yet never imagined that our lives, so different in many ways, would one day intertwine.

The proposal…

It was a moment more magical than anything we could have imagined.

We were in Cappadocia, a destination we had both dreamed of visiting for so long.

That morning, at sunrise, we floated gently above the valleys in a hot air balloon, a surreal experience, suspended somewhere between earth and sky.

I had absolutely no idea what was about to happen.

After we landed, Maher led me to the Valley of Love.

And there, in a place I will never forget, time seemed to pause.

I remember his voice.
